part 2

Both of my parents are from the US. My mom’s parents are also from the US and my grandmas Irish and my grandpas Italian. My Dads parents are also both from the United States.  My mother’s fathers parents , my great grandparents were both from Italy . That’s where they both were born. When they were younger they moved over to the United States because of the poor jobs. My family is all Irish and Italian. Since my great grandparents were the only ones who came from a different country it shows how my family is alike. The United States is made up of people from all around the world. My great grandparents coming over to the United States were probably worried but also excited. My parents both born in the United States are proud of the ancestry and know a lot about it. My dad’s family is mostly all Irish and my dad’s moms from Ireland. My dad is 100% Irish also and my mom’s mostly Italian. It’s interesting to figure out all of this stuff about your family that you didn't know. If it wasn't for this project then i would have no idea that my great grandparents were both from Italy. These things are amazing to know and will help you with other things. My mom still has her grandfather’s birth certificate from him being in Italy. I think that’s really cool and shows a lot. Considering he migrated over when he was a little boy it’s really cool to still have that! Even though most of my family is born and from the United States it is still cool to have someone in your family born somewhere else. Figuring all of this out now i know more about my family and their backgrounds. This stuff is really interesting, and i want to know more about it.
